BOPP lamination, explained for buyers

BOPP (biaxially-oriented polypropylene) lamination is a thin printed film bonded to a woven sack. It changes both looks and performance.

What it adds

  • Photographic print — full-color, high-resolution graphics that plain flexo cannot match.
  • Moisture and scuff resistance — the film shields the weave and the print.
  • Shelf appeal — gloss or matte finishes that make a sack look like retail packaging.

When it is worth it

If your bag reaches end consumers (rice, flour, pet food, fertilizer in garden centres), lamination pays for itself in brand presence. For purely industrial transport, an un-laminated printed sack may be enough. We can quote both so you can compare.
